Louisa joined Community Law and Mediation as Chief Operating Officer in 2025. She is currently Acting CEO, covering the CEO’s maternity leave.

Prior to joining CLM she had over 30 years’ experience of working in the public and not-for-profit sector in the UK, most recently as CEO of the children’s legal charity, Just for Kids Law, and as Director of Policy, Rights and Advocacy at the UK’s Child Poverty Action Group. In the UK public sector she worked in the NHS, the Ministry of Justice, Courts Service, Health Department and the Department of Children, Schools and Families.

She is passionate about community engagement and working with organisations bringing together legal and policy work to create social change and a more equal society.

Louisa is also a Board member of LGBT Ireland.
