We are Hiring an Accounts Assistant / General Administrator (CE Scheme) – Dublin Office

The role of the CE Accounts Assistant/Administrator is to support CLM’s Finance Manager.

Main Duties:

  • Process invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Expenses approval for payment by Finance Manager.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with any day-to-day financial support.
  • Entering of data into SharePoint and in time, Sage.
  • Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence.
  • Credit control – follow up via call or email regarding payments
  • Type letters, emails and other documentation.
  • Dealing with daily post.

Knowledge and skills desired:

  • Accounts experience is not essential but a desire to work in this field is important.
  • A positive work ethic and a willingness to learn new tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of MS office.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential attributes for this role.

Training

Under the CE Scheme you will be provided with relevant training. You will also receive ‘on the job’ training from CLM staff.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the CE scheme you must:

  • Be available 19.5 hrs a week. The scheme runs for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Have been continuously unemployed for at least 12 months and “signing on” on a full-time basis; and
  • Have been receiving a jobseeker’s payment (Jobseeker’s Benefit or Jobseeker’s Allowance) from the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection for at least 12 months; or
  • Be currently receiving Jobseeker’s Allowance (JA)

Location

Northside Civic Centre, Coolock, Dublin

Hours:

19.5 hours per week.

Suggested hours:

  • Flexible – ideally across 4 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri)
