Education Rights: Addressing School Problems – A training course by Community Law & Mediation.

CLM are delighted to be delivering an ‘Education Rights: Addressing School Problems’ training on Monday 11th May 10am-1pm online! This training will cover the following areas:
- Education Law and Governance in Ireland
- Common Problems Faced in Schools
For example:
• Special needs education, reasonable accommodation and discrimination
• Bullying
• Informal exclusion, reduced timetables and admission refusal
• Discipline, suspension, expulsion and Section 29 appeals
- Resolving Problems at School Level
- Appeals and Formal Processes
- Escalating Matters to External Bodies
Including:
• The Department of Education
• Workplace Relations Commission (WRC)
• Ombudsman for Children

This course is a half day course on Zoom from 10am-1pm.
